Day 1: Arrival in Sri Lanka & Transfer to Sigiriya

  • Your adventure begins as you arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake, where our representative will warmly welcome you. From here, you will begin your journey toward Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its legendary rock fortress.

 Day 2: Exploring Sigiriya & Polonnaruwa

  • After breakfast, begin your day with an exciting excursion to Polonnaruwa, the medieval capital of Sri Lanka. Later in the day, immerse yourself in the wildlife and natural beauty of the region.
  • Visit the Ancient City of Polonnaruwa, home to well-preserved ruins of palaces, temples, and statues.
  • Explore sites like Gal Vihara, Lankathilaka Temple, and Parakrama Samudraya.
  • In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling jeep safari in Minneriya National Park, where you can witness large herds of elephants, deer, and exotic bird species.
  • Return to your hotel in Sigiriya and unwind.

Day 3: Sigiriya to Kandy – Cultural & Historical Wonders

  • Today, you’ll start your morning with a visit to the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s most famous landmarks. Then, travel to Kandy, the last royal capital of the island.
  • Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an ancient royal palace built atop a massive rock with breathtaking panoramic views.
  • On the way to Kandy, visit a spice garden in Matale and learn about Sri Lanka’s fragrant spices and Ayurvedic herbs.
  • Upon arrival in Kandy, explore the charming city, visiting Kandy Lake, the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, and the lively streets filled with traditional markets.

  • Board the scenic train to Ella, passing through breathtaking landscapes of tea estates, misty hills, and tunnels.
  • Upon arrival in Ella, visit the Nine Arches Bridge, a stunning colonial-era viaduct.
  • Travel to Udawalawe, where you’ll check in to your hotel and prepare for the next day’s wildlife adventure.

Day 6: Udawalawe to Unawatuna – Safari & Coastal Escape

  • Wake up early for an exciting jeep safari at Udawalawe National Park, famous for its large elephant population. Later, head toward the southern coast to relax by the beach.
  • Take a jeep safari in Udawalawe National Park, where you might spot elephants, crocodiles, and diverse bird species.
  • Visit the Elephant Transit Home, where orphaned elephants are rehabilitated.

Day 8: Departure & Transfer to Airport
